Who’s this article for? Hosts |
Zencastr lets you bring guests into your room by email or a shareable link, so you can record together from anywhere. Guests don't need to create a Zencastr account to join the recording room. You can record up to six participants, including the host.
In this article you’ll learn how to invite guests to your recording room using the Chrome browser on your Android device.
Note: If you’re using an iPhone or iPad, use the Zencastr iOS app and follow the instructions for Zencastr iOS app: invite guests to your recording instead.
How invite links work
The emailed invitation and copied invite link both open the same recording room.
Anyone with the link can join the recording, so share it only with your guests. Each recording room has a unique link that doesn't expire.
Guests enter through the green room to set up their devices before joining.
Note: Treat the invite link like a key to your recording room. Avoid posting it publicly.
